Feb.11/09 - One of the most common complaints I hear in my day to day travels & conversations regards the lack of a retirement-style neighbourhood in Orangeville. I'm no demographer, and am clearly not a genius (as anyone who knows me will attest to) but it seems to me there is a demand (one which will only increase as time passes) for a housing environment geared towards empty-nesters, snowbirds, etc. It now appears however, someone has finally taken notice as the owners behind the Lord Dufferin Centre are preparing to redevelop the site at One Elizabeth Street as Orangeville's first 55+ Adult-Lifestyle Community. I'll present more info as as we go along but in the meantime, should you have any questions - feel free to let me know.
